FAQs
- The cost of hire of the hall is £12.50 per hour (Please note this will increase to £20 per hour with effect from 1st January 2025)..
- The venue is suitable for small, local community events. Please see list of alternative venues for large events here.
- Please note that we are unable to have bouncy castles at the moment.
- All events must finish by 10pm.
- Weekend bookings from 9am.
- The Institute is located on a narrow residential lane and parking is extremely limited.
- Licences may be required for some activities; if agreed, these are entirely the responsibility of the hirer.
- Hirers may need to purchase their own public liability insurance for certain activities or if using the hall on a regular basis.
- Kitchen available for hot and/or cold drinks and cold food only.
- Weekend bookings only. Occasional evening availability on weekdays during school holidays.
- Booking is for the hall only and does not cover the outside area to the rear of the building.
- Accessible entry available. Please email for details of accessible toilets.
